DIY COUPON BOOK FOR DAD

Let’s face it, dads are difficult to shop for. I don’t know about you, but now that I’m far into my 20s, I’ve already given dad a few ties, some coffee mugs (and travel mugs), key chains, and barbeque equipment. I’m running out of ideas here! But everyone appreciates acts of kindness, so here is a simple little coupon booklet to put a smile on Dad’s face this weekend… and allow him to put his feet up. Just download, print, and follow the instructions. It’s a half hour craft at most, so get to it!

WHAT YOU NEED:

- Text weight paper
- Card stock or cover weight paper
- Printer
- Stapler
- Double sided tape
- Free Printables for the Coupon Booklet (page 1, page 2, page 3)

WHAT TO DO:

1. Download and print the Free Coupon Booklet Printables (see above). For the back cover piece (page 3), print on a heavier card stock for durability.
2. Cut out the pages that you would like to include, as well as the back cover piece and cover page.
3. Place the pages in the order you like, with the cover page in the front and staple bind them once on the far left side.
4. Then fold the back piece along the dashed lines inwards, toward itself. Use double sided tape to secure the folded back piece to itself and the pages. I taped both back and front of the stapled pages.

It’s as simple as that! Oh, and… You might want to fill in all the blank pages yourself, otherwise Dad might get greedy and fill in the blanks with ridiculous requests. Happy Father’s Day!

Other ideas: You can use this template for other people and occasions, by making your own cover page and using lots of blank pages to fill in. A quick and easy gift for those last-minute givers.
