Is there anything sweeter than a pregnant bride? How about a pregnant bride, her crafty husband, and their carnival themed wedding? When it comes to cute, quirky, and playful, it’s pretty hard to beat today’s wedding from Chelle Wootten. Heather and Brian were married last fall on an apple farm in Berwick, Nova Scotia and trust me when I tell you that everything about this wedding is absolutely charming and adorable, including the bride’s beautiful 7th month baby bump!
In Heather’s Words:
Brian and I are definitely not traditional. We always knew that we wanted our wedding to be about showing our personalities and just having fun with all the people we love the most. Since we wanted something fun, we thought, “what’s more fun than the carnival?!” and we’ve both always been into all things vintage so it was just a given that would be an underlying theme for sure.
I wore my great-grandmothers necklace, I’d never met her so it was extra special to me. My engagement ring is actually two rings put together, one is from my grandmother from a set she’s had for me since I was about four. The other, was Brian’s grandmothers, who passed away when he was 3. Not only do I get to wear two very important to us rings, but it also symbolizes us/our families joining.
Heather and Bryan had a simple, but intimate ceremony and made their vows just as the sun was beginning to set.
Chelle takes a playful approach to her wedding photography that I find incredibly refreshing, and perfectly suited to this couple’s fun personality, don’t you think?
Brian – that’s right, the groom! – made just about all the decor himself, totally by hand and from scratch. You gotta love a crafty groom.
Adorable, right? Congrats Heather and Brian!
