Sometimes you just need to indulge in a little good old fashioned girliness y’know? Luckily for all those in need of such an indulgence, today’s wedding from Lyndsay London is loaded with lots of blush pink details, roses, lace, and a whole lot of romance; perfect for the secret or not-so-secret girly girl in all of us.
Maggie and Haydex met during their undergrad at UBC and were good friends for 4 years before they even started dating. Haydex’s original plan was to propose to Maggie during their getaway to the Sunshine Coast, but Maggie found out about the ring before their trip and in the end, he proposed in her bedroom. Not quite the romantic destination proposal he had planned, but she said yes and that’s all that matters really isn’t it?

They started their wedding day at UBC Farms for portraits, followed by a quick dress change at Hycroft Manor before their tea ceremony and wedding ceremony.
The Hycroft Manor is an Edwardian clubhouse dating back to 1909 and is now home to the University Women’s Club of Vancouver. Pretty grand, non?
I love the pairing of delicate blush pink roses with hearty green succulents in the centrepieces and bouquets from Precious Pear Floral Design.
