According to Refinery 29′s recent and hilariously true infographic, I would estimate that a good 50-75% of the weddings that I feature here on Uschi & Kay would classify as “hipster weddings”. While some consider hipster to be a dirty word, I’m not ashamed to admit that I wholeheartedly embrace, maybe even love, hipster weddings; they’re generally awesome and fun, and today’s featured wedding from Shannon May Photography is definitely no exception to that rule. Because when you combine lawn games and glow sticks, a lobster picnic with an ice cream sundae bar, and an old school RV and a live band all in one wedding, well that is clearly a recipe for amazingness and good times! Hipster or not, I have a feeling you’re going to love Abbie and Dalen’s wedding just as much as I do.
Abbie and Dalen were married amongst family and friends in an apple orchard overlooking the Bay of Fundy at the Ganong Nature Park near St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
These two are gorgeous together, aren’t they?
East Coast family style picnic with lobster and a sundae bar? Yes, please!!
These two made fun their priority and set out lawn games and a photobooth to keep guests entertained during the reception.
To finish off the evening, Abbie and Dalen planned an all out celebration complete with glow sticks, sparklers and a live band for the dance.
