I have been dying to feature a modern nautical wedding for some time now so when Michael B sent me this gorgeous Pointe-Claire Yacht Club wedding, I was over the moon. Emilia and Andrés live in Ottawa, but were wed lakeside in Pointe-Claire, just outside of Montreal. Too often when doing a nautical theme, people go overboard (teehee…see what I just did there?) with the details, but these two kept things minimal, elegant, and sophisticated; and therefore, in my opinion, totally swoon-worthy.
I loved that they lined the aisle with seashells! So simple and pretty.
The Pointe-Claire Yacht Club rarely hosts wedding events which is a shame considering it’s such a beautiful venue, don’t you think?
