2012 was a great year full of so many beautiful weddings and I am completely honoured to have been able to feature and share all them with you. As a little ode to the year that was, I’ve rounded up 10 of my favourite moments captured by the talented photographers who have been kind enough to share their work with me over the last 12 months. These are the photos that have made me smile, laugh, tear up, and generally made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
1. Favourite First Kiss – Lisa and Dale
This was an easy one; hands down Lisa and Dale’s first kiss was my favourite of the year. A little bit playful and a whole lot passionate, this kiss gives me butterflies every time.
2. Favourite Cake Smash – Tess and Mike
I have to admit that the cake smash is usually not my favourite thing, but this moment at Tess and Mike’s wedding cracks me up.
3. Favourite Kid Moment – Quinn and Kevin
Kids always make for some great moments at weddings and this cute little guy couldn’t resist trying to climb under Quinn’s skirt.
4. Favourite Bridesmaid Moment – Michelle and Adam
Clearly this bridesmaid could not wait to get the party started! Now that’s my kind of girl.
5. Favourite Fun Moment – Dane and Jayne and Elisabeth and Peter
This one was definitely a toss up. Both Dane and Jayne, and Elisabeth and Peter took some time away from their guests to have a little fun and ham it up for the camera.
6. Favourite Touching Moment – Rachael and Scott

Is there anything sweeter than being serenaded by your husband on your wedding day?
7. Favourite Reception Moment – Kate and Cameron
There were lots of great reception moments captured this year, but my favourite has to be Kate and Cameron belting out the tunes at their karaoke reception.
8. Favourite First Look – Yan and Takami
I have yet to see an expression quite as perfect as the one on Yan’s face when he first saw Takami on their wedding day. Priceless.
9. Favourite Bouquet Toss – Veronic and Renato
Veronic had a huge grin on her face for most of her wedding day, but I’m not sure it could get any bigger than it does here as she tosses her wedding bouquet.
10. Favourite Exit – Emilie and Jake

There have been so many great exit/entrance photos, but Emilie wins it with her amazing expression (and the sparklers don’t hurt either!)
