I’ve always been a sucker for a romantic woodland wedding; now throw in a little rain, a cozy cabin, and a beautiful boho bride and her handsome groom, and consider me head over heels in love! Enter Leah and Simon and their/my dream wedding. Engaged on December 20th, these two exchanged vows just 3 months later standing on the porch of their friend’s cabin surrounded by 30 of their nearest and dearest. Close friends of the couple, Dallas and Sabrina of Dallas Kolotylo Photography were on hand to capture all the gorgeous and special details of the big day, even doing double duty by being in the wedding party to boot.
A friend of the couple put together the bouquets and boutonnieres using fresh flowers and herbs from Trader Joe’s.
With the beauty of the Pacific Northwest as the inspiration for their wedding, they incorporated rustic earthy elements like antlers, feathers, and wood into their decor.

Leah designed a crest for her and Simon, which she had turned into a rubber stamp and used to personalize their wedding favour bags filled with homemade citrus chutney, biscotti, and a test tube of thyme infused vodka. Potted herbs wrapped in brown paper and tied with string, and burlap runners acted as simple rustic centrepieces.
Pretty romantic, no? Congrats Leah and Simon, and a huge thank you to Dallas and Sabrina for sharing!
